Record spending by typing a sentence
Type what you spent the way you’d text a friend. The bookkeeping assistant drafts the transaction with a date, amount and category, and nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Open the assistant
On a phone, it’s the round button in the middle of the bottom bar. On a computer, it’s the button in the bottom-right corner of every page.
Say what you spent
You type “Starbucks yesterday, 5 bucks”. AI Budgie drafts a $5.00 Dining out expense dated yesterday; you tap Record it, and it is recorded.
- 1
Type a sentence such as Starbucks yesterday, 5 bucks. Several at once work too: Lunch 30, taxi 15.
- 2
The assistant replies with a card for each: the shop, the category, the amount and the date. Check it.
- 3
Tap Record it to save it, or Change to fix anything first. Your budget updates straight away.
Income works the same way
Tell it what came in, such as “got paid 2400 today” or “sold a bike for 120”. It records income instead of spending.
How many messages you get
During the trial you have 5 assistant messages a day; Premium has 50, and a Family household shares 100 a day. You can always add transactions by hand on the Transactions page.
